Cancellation and Refund Policy

At ESAW Microscopes and Labware, we want to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you are not completely happy with your order, please read through our Cancellation and Refund Policy below to understand your rights and how to initiate a refund or cancellation.

1. Order Cancellation

You can request to cancel your order before it is processed and shipped. Once an order is processed and shipped, we are unable to cancel it.

To cancel your order:

  • Please contact our customer support team at [your contact email or phone number] as soon as possible, and include your order number and the reason for cancellation.
  • If your order has already been shipped, you will need to follow our return process (see section 3 below).

Cancellation conditions:

  • Orders can only be canceled before they are shipped.
  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, and you will need to follow our return process if you wish to return the items (see below).

2. Refunds

We offer refunds for eligible items in accordance with the conditions outlined in this policy. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Eligibility for Refund:

  • Refunds are available for items that are unused, in their original condition, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
  • If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped, you may be eligible for a full refund or replacement.
  • Certain items may not be eligible for a refund due to hygiene or safety reasons (e.g., intimate apparel, perishable goods, etc.). These items will be clearly marked on the product page.

Refund Process:

  • Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return requirements.
  • If the return is approved, we will process your refund. Refunds are typically issued within 3 business days.
  • Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect items).

3. Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 3-day return period for most products. To return an item, please follow these steps:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective items).
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will provide a full refund or replacement, including covering the return shipping costs.

To report a defective or incorrect item:

  • Provide a description of the issue and include a photo of the defective or incorrect item.
  • We will guide you through the return and refund process, and provide a prepaid return label if applicable.

5. Refunds for Gift Orders

If you received a product as a gift and wish to return it, you may request a store credit instead of a refund to the original purchaser's payment method. The store credit will be issued for the value of the returned item(s).

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account or credit card statement. If the refund isn’t showing up, please contact your bank or credit card company as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
