ILLUMINATION |
The microscope should have an ergonomic stand with |
12V/100W halogen light source or equivalent LED transmitted light |
source. Should have Light intensity manager switch with front knob |
for light intensity adjustment and built-in filters. |
OBSERVATION |
Should be Tilting trinocular wide field, with |
inclination from 5 degree to 30 degree three way light path distribution |
(100:0, 50:50 & 0:100) for simultaneous viewing and imaging of the |
specimens, provided with paired widefield eyepieces-FN 22 or more. |
EYE-PIECES |
Should be of at least IOX magnification, with diopter |
adjustment facility with field of view of 22 mm or higher. |
NOSEPIECE |
Reversed sextuple position revolving nosepiece to accommodate six |
objectives at a time with a slot for Analyser and Polarizer. |

REVOLVING NOSEPIECE |
Revolving nosepiece to accommodate 6 objectives at a time with a slot |
for analyser and polarizer. Separate slot for tint plate, for urate crystals |
and CPPD crystals should be present. Tint plate should also be |
provided. |
CONDENSER |
swing out. Condenser should be compatible with 2X-1 OOX |
and also compatible with achromat and apochromat objectives |
MULTI-HEAD ATTACHMENT |
5 additional ergonomic viewing heads apart |
from the primary user. In all viewing end illumination should be as |
strong as in the master objectives. Both eye pieces should have diopter |
adjustments for all secondary observers and should have FOV 22mm |
and above. When using the same type of observation tube, orientations |
of images observed by all observers should be identical. |
