Portable Needle Syringe Destroyer:

Portable Electric Needle Syringe Destroy the uses injection needles in hospitals/ Nursing Hornes/ Clinical Labs. Equipments should destroythe needles by instant electro-melting process and syringe tips by manual outer and must be suitable for operation on 230 V +/-10%, 50 HZ +/- 3 % A.C. supply and of power rating 100 Watts minimum.

Principle of Operation Electro melting type

Housing Enclosure :

It is molded type, shock proof and made of ABS plastic/Glass filled nylon. Suitable tray made of the same material,

as that of the enclosure, housing shall be provided with provision of aluminum material of thickness 0.8mm (Min) inside on the walls as well as the bottom of unit for collection of residue and destroyed syringe tips. Suitable provision to burn the needle &to cut the syringe tips is provided in the unit. It shall comply in general to the requirements of IS 302

(Part I)/1979 to ensure safe & reliable operation in normal use.

Manual Cutter :

It is having hardened blade of stainless steel Material to cut the syringe tips.

Capacity

 The unit is having adequate capacity to destroy all kind and following sizes of injection needles. Dia Ranging from 0.4mm to 1.6mm Length 12.5mm to 80mm.

Power Switches

Power on/off switch is provided along with power on indicator. The unit is provided with fuse of adequate rating. The item quoted is also provided with power cord of 11/2 meters length and an earthing point.

Power requirements

Power 230 V + 10%50HZ supply requirements. The following are the power requirements :

1.    In stand- by mode maximum upto 3 watt
2.  During destruction of thickness needle of 1.6mm dia maximum power requirement/power consumption is maximum 5 amp A1 230 V + 10%, 50 Hz AC.
3.   The 5 pieces of injection needle of 1.6mm dia upto full length of 80mm can be destroyed in continuous operation. Destruction time of injection needle of 1.6mm dia and up to full length of 80mm is Maximum 1 minute.
